HONOR launched two new phones in the Philippines: the HONOR X6a and the HONOR X5 Plus. These smartphones are part of the 2023 X series, which aims to provide reliable performance, stunning design, and long-lasting battery life at affordable prices.
The HONOR X6a and the HONOR X5 Plus both feature a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, allowing for a smooth and responsive user experience.
They also share the same MediaTek Helio G36 processor, an entry-level chipset that balances battery efficiency and performance. Both devices run on Android 13 OS with MagicOS 7.1 interface, which provides a user-friendly and customizable experience.
One of the main highlights of the HONOR X6a and the HONOR X5 Plus is their camera system. Both smartphones boast a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture.
The HONOR X6a also has a macro camera and a depth camera, which enable close-up shots and portrait shots with bokeh effects. The HONOR X5 Plus, on the other hand, has a depth camera for portrait mode. Both devices have a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Both smartphones also pack a massive 5200mAh battery, which can last up to two days on a single charge. The HONOR X6a supports 22.5W Honor SuperCharge technology, which the company says can charge the device up to 31% in just 20 minutes. The HONOR X5 Plus supports a slower 10W charging rate via USB Type-C.
The HONOR X6a and the HONOR X5 Plus also come with other features such as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support, 4G LTE connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The HONOR X6a has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the HONOR X5 Plus has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Both devices support microSD cards for storage expansion.
The HONOR X6a is priced at P6,990, available in Midnight Black and Sky Silver, in HONOR Experience and Partner Stores, as well as online via Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop.
While the HONOR X5 Plus is priced at P5,990 (P5,490 until October 8). It is also available in HONOR Experience and Partner Stores, Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop.
