HUAWEI launched its latest tablet, the HUAWEI MatePad 11 PaperMatte Edition, in the Philippines. For P29,999, the premium tablet features an 11-inch 2.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, and HarmonyOS 3.1 operating system.
The HUAWEI MatePad 11 PaperMatte Edition is designed to offer a paper-like visual and writing experience, thanks to its nano-level anti-glare etching technology that eliminates 97% of all light interference. The tablet also supports the HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd generation), which has 4096-level pressure sensing and unique micro-vibration and damping effects.
The tablet has a sleek and slender body, weighing only 480 grams and measuring 7.2 mm in thickness. It comes in a Graphite Black colorway, with a starlight sand rear cover and a cosmic star ring camera design. It also has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera for video calls and selfies.
The HUAWEI MatePad 11 PaperMatte Edition is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, a high-performing 4nm octa-core processor with a clock speed of up to 3.2GHz. The tablet has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and also supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C, and OTG.
The tablet runs on HarmonyOS 3.1, the company’s own operating system with the HUAWEI AppGallery. It also has various productivity and entertainment features, such as Multi-Window, App Multiplier, Parallel Vision, HUAWEI Books, HUAWEI Music, and more.
The battery capacity is a large 7,250mAh, which the company says can last for up to 12 hours of local video playback on a single charge, and supports 22.5W fast charging via a USB-C port.
The HUAWEI MatePad 11 PaperMatte Edition is priced at P29,999 in the Philippines, now available at offline and online HUAWEI stores, authorized retailers, and e-commerce platforms Shopee and Lazada.
It is bundled with a detachable magnetic keyboard, a HUAWEI M-Pencil 2nd Gen, a HUAWEI Bluetooth Mouse, PC Level WPS Office, a Viu 1-year Premium Subscription, and an Edventure Coupon, amounting to P21,895 for free during the First Sale Period from today until October 31. Additionally, HUAWEI is also offering a P3,000 trade-in token for old Huawei products in select stores.
