The Philippines Department of Tourism (DOT) and MOONTON Games inked a memorandum of agreement (MoA) to co-host the M5 World Championship, the world’s biggest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports event that will kick off in Manila on December 2, 2023.
The MoA establishes the official endorsement of MOONTON Games hosting the international championship in Manila. It also sets the framework for the collaboration between the global developer and DOT for promoting the tournament and the country’s tourism.
The M5 World Championship will feature 15 regions and 69 countries from five continents, making it the most extensive and diversified Mobile Legends: Bang Bang international tournament.
Early bird ticket sales for Group, Knockout, and Grand Finals Stages
Sale of early bird ticket bundles for the Group Stage, Knockout Stage, and Grand Finals in Manila are now open at https://slashevent.com/e/m5-world-championship. The ticket bundles offer exclusive access and benefits to fans, such as:
- PH Super Pass: For fans of MPL PH teams, this pass offers access to all matches that feature either of the qualifying Filipino teams (MPL PH representatives). Passholders will be allocated seats at the Legend area in the Group Stage, and Mythic area in the Grand Finals, respectively. Each pass is priced at ₱2,899 (USD 51.70) and comes with a limited edition M5 World Championship hoodie.
- MVP Pass: For fans who want to purchase on a per-match basis, this pass offers front-row seat allocation, priority access, express access for team meet-and-greet sessions, and M5 World Championship merchandise. The prices vary by stage and format, as shown in the table below:

The early bird ticket sales will end on November 3, 2023.
Ticket holders for MPL PH S12 Playoffs, which will take place between October 25 – 29, will be entitled to a unique promotional code tied to their email addresses, which they can use to purchase M5 regular tickets at a 10% discount. The regular tickets will go on sale starting November 4, 2023, via SLASH.
To redeem the discount, MPL PH Playoff ticket holders will receive a reminder through their emails, and they need to input their respective email addresses when purchasing the M5 passes at 10% off. The promotion code will be valid from November 4 to December 16, 2023.
The discount can only be redeemed once, so it is advised not to share your respective promotional codes with anyone else or on social media.
Wild Card format debuts in Malaysia from November 23-26
This year, the M5 World Championship makes history as it introduces the Wild Card format that will take place in Malaysia from November 23-26, 2023. The top two teams from the Wild Card will proceed to the main stage in Manila, where they will compete with the other regional champions.
The Wild Card will be held at Jio Space, Lot 1, Jalan 19/1b, Seksyen 19, 46300 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.
To celebrate the MPL PH representatives, a fan conference will be held in the Philippines to commemorate them with their families and fans ahead of the Group Stage. Watch parties will also be hosted across the globe, featuring popular MLBB talents. More details on offline activations will be shared later.
