Magic Chess: Go Go Season 4 debuts with The King of Fighters crossover

The crossover features new skins, synergies, events, and more.

Magic Chess: Go Go (MCGG) has started its Season 4 with a big update. The mobile strategy game from MOONTON Games is teaming up with The King of Fighters (KOF) for its first crossover.

The collaboration brings eight new commander skins based on KOF characters. Aurora takes the role of Kula Diamond, Chou becomes Iori Yagami, and Paquito appears as Terry Bogard, among others.

Players also get two new synergies, KOF and Mortal Rivals, plus a special chessboard skin styled after the fighting series.

Season 4 includes fresh gameplay features. Commander Power Cards give each commander unique abilities. A new Arena Mode lets players take unlimited time to prepare their lineup, compete for Arena Trophies, and use a betting system that raises the rewards.

Events are part of the rollout as well. The Destined Duel event offers Leona Draw Tokens, KOF Deploy Effects, and the Johnson “Death Chariot” skin.

MCGG is also stepping further into esports. The GO1 World Championship, its first international tournament, will be held in Jakarta in January 2026.
