TECNO launched the POP 8, its latest budget-friendly device. The POP 8 features a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 2.2GHz octa-core processor, and a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging.
The POP 8 comes in four variants: 6GB+64GB, 8GB+64GB, and 8GB+128GB. It also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, DTS dual speakers, a USB-C port, and a headphone jack. It runs on Android T-Go, a lightweight version of Android designed for entry-level devices.
The POP 8 has a 13MP main camera alongside an AI camera on the back and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. It also features TECNO’s Dynamic Port, a Dynamic Island-like integrated notification animation around the front camera cutout.
The device supports 4G LTE connectivity with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. The phone is available in four colors: Mystery White, Alpenglow Gold, Magic Skin, and Gravity Black.
At this point, its price and availability details are not yet revealed.
