TECNO globally launched its latest flagship device, the POVA 6 Pro 5G, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona.
The POVA 6 Pro 5G boasts a massive 6000mAh Mega battery with 70W Ultra Charge and a Super-Endurance Power System feature, a super slim 7.88mm body, and a Dynamic Light Effect LED system.
According to TECNO, the 6000mAh battery can last up to 11+ hours of gaming, up to 14+ hours of video streaming, or up to 31+ hours of calling. Despite the huge battery, the POVA 6 Pro 5G measures just 7.88mm in thickness – 12.4% thinner than the last generation – and weighs just 195g.
Moreover, aside from providing up to 1.5 days of use per charge, the 6000mAh battery can deliver 6 years of reliable power solution, maintaining 80% of its original performance, with a 15% higher battery cycle life than other brands.
Meanwhile, its 70W wired fast charging can charge the phone from empty to 50% in just 20 minutes and 100% in just 50 minutes. It also offers 1% Super-Endurance Power, which activates when the battery is low, providing enough power for 20 minutes of calls.
The handset features what TECNO dubbed as the Dynamic-Eye Design. The aesthetic comes with a Dynamic Light Effect on the back cover. It has 210 single-point controlled MiniLEDs that create ring-shaped and propeller-shaped light effects for up to 9 different scenarios like calls, power status, and gaming. Users can also personalize their own POVA experience with 101 different user-defined effects.
As for the rest of its specifications, the TECNO POVA 6 Pro 5G has a 6.78-inch FHD display with 2436×1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. Under the hood, it has a Mediatek Dimensity 6080 with 256GB of storage and 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 12GB more via Extended RAM.
It has a triple camera setup at the back, and it is the first POVA phone to have a 108MP main camera with a 32MP Dual-tone LED Flash front camera. The phone runs on HiOS 14 on top of Android 14 and features several updates including Game Space 4.0 and Game Assistant 4.0 for optimized gaming, and Infrared Remote Control to make POVA 6 Pro 5G a universal remote for TVs, air conditioners, and other appliances.
The POVA 6 Pro 5G comes in Comet Green and Meteorite Grey. The Philippines will be one of the first countries to launch the phone. Availability and price details will be announced soon.
