OPPO Find N3 Flip can fold reliably for a million times, TÜV Rheinland confirms

OPPO‘s latest flagship foldable phone, the Find N3 Flip, can fold reliably at least 1,000,000 times without any damage to its hinge or display. The flip phone has been certified by TÜV Rheinland having passed its rigorous durability test.

OPPO VP Billy Zhang posted on X of the breakthrough durability of the Find N3 Flip. “We often hear from users that durability is a key concern when it comes to foldable,” Zhang said. “That’s why I’m delighted to announce that both the #OPPOFindN3 and #OPPOFindN3Flip are now TÜV Rheinland certified to fold reliably at least 1,000,000 times! That’s top-class durability,” he adds.

OPPO's Flexion Hinge

The Find N3 Flip features OPPO’s Flexion Hinge for Flip, which was designed to survive a million folds while making the screen crease more shallow and allowing for no gap when folded. It also has an IPX4 rating.

In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5’s Flex Hinge is certified for over 200,000 folds, which isn’t a small feat considering it means it could last more than 5 years if opened and closed 100 times a day.

OPPO Find N3 Flip

The Find N3 Flip is OPPO’s latest clamshell phone that boasts a 6.8-inch inside display and a large 3.26-inch cover display. It comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 4,300mAh battery with 44W SUPERVOOC fast charging, and a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor.

TÜV Rheinland certified not only the Find N3 Flip but also the Find N3, OPPO’s other foldable smartphone that has a 7.82-inch inward-folding screen and a 6.31-inch cover screen. The certification means both devices have met the high standards of quality and safety that TÜV Rheinland sets for foldable smartphones.

The OPPO Find N3 Flip is now available in the Philippines for ₱64,999 in selected OPPO-authorized offline concept stores and multi-brand stores nationwide. To read more about the flip phone deals and freebies, go here.
