Samsung expanded its Galaxy A series with three new smartphones: the Galaxy A25 5G, the Galaxy A15 5G, and the Galaxy A15 LTE. The new phones feature the Key Island design, which separates the power and volume buttons from the rest of the body, giving it a sleek and modern look.
Samsung Galaxy A25 5G
The Galaxy A25 5G is the most premium of the trio, boasting a 6.5-inch FHD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits of brightness. The display also has a small notch for the 13MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A25 5G is powered by an Exynos 1280 chipset, which supports 5G connectivity and delivers smooth performance. It comes in two variants: 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB, both of which can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.
The phone also has a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging and runs on One UI 6.0, based on Android 14. A side fingerprint scanner provides biometric security.
On the back, the Galaxy A25 5G has a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera.
The Galaxy A25 5G is priced at VND 6,590,000 (around ₱15,200). The phone will go on sale in Vietnam from December 16.
Samsung Galaxy A15
The Galaxy A15 5G and LTE variants come with similar designs but with slight differences in specs. They both have 6.5-inch FHD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED displays with 90Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits. They also have triple rear cameras with 50MP main, 5MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro, 13MP selfie cameras, and side fingerprint scanners.
The Galaxy A15 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the LTE variant has a MediaTek Helio G99 with 8GB RAM and 128GB and 256GB storage variants. Both phones have 5000mAh batteries with 25W fast charging and run on One UI 6.0, based on Android 12.
The Galaxy A15 5G and LTE are priced at VND 6,290,000 (around ₱14,500) and VND 4,990,000 (around ₱11,500), respectively.
The Galaxy A25 5G, Galaxy A15 5G, and Galaxy A15 LTE are Samsung’s latest offerings in the competitive mid-range segment, where they face rivals such as OPPO, realme, Xiaomi, and vivo.
