HUAWEI announced a new version of its MateBook D 16 laptop, featuring a familiar sleek design, a 16-inch display, and up to a 13th Gen Intel Core i9 processor. The spacious laptop will soon come to Philippine shores.
The HUAWEI MateBook D 16 2024 did not stray too far from its predecessor, offering an updated processor combined with pretty much the same features. The laptop features a large 16-inch 16:10 IPS display with a 1920×1200 resolution and 300 nits of brightness. The screen also supports eye comfort mode, which reduces blue light and eye strain.
The laptop is powered by up to a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H processor with 16GB of RAM, either 512GB or 1TB of storage, and a dual-fan cooling system.
The HUAWEI MateBook D 16 2024 has a slim body that weighs only 1.68 kg, a full keyboard with a numeric keypad, a fingerprint power button, and a 720p HD camera. It also has a 70Wh battery and supports 65W SuperCharge.
One of the highlights of the HUAWEI MateBook D 16 2024 is its support for Super Device, a feature that allows the laptop to connect with other HUAWEI devices seamlessly. Users can drag and drop files, share screens, and control multiple devices with a single mouse and keyboard.
Availability
The HUAWEI MateBook D 16 2024 is available in two colors: Mystic Silver and Space Gray. It is coming to the Philippines soon.
According to its pre-order page, the laptop is currently on blind pre-sale until January 11, 2024, with a ₱500 deposit and ₱5,000 OFF for the balance. However, the price is yet to be revealed.
Bundled freebies include a HUAWEI WiFi AX3 router worth ₱3,999. Its first sale freebie total will be ₱6,987.
