HONOR launched a new mid-range device, the HONOR X8b, in Malaysia. The HONOR X8b boasts a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, and a triple-camera setup with a 108MP main sensor.
The HONOR X8b’s display is one of its main attractions, offering a high-resolution 2412×1080 pixel panel with a peak brightness of 2000 nits, and a 3240Hz PWW dimming technology that reduces eye strain.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 with 8GB of RAM and spacious 512GB of internal storage. It also has a large 4500mAh battery which supports 35W fast charging, and runs on MagicOS 7.2 on top of Android 13.
The HONOR X8b’s camera system is another highlight, as it features a 108MP main camera accompanied by a 5MP ultra-wide and depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The phone also has a 50MP front camera for clear selfies and video calls.

The HONOR X8b comes in three colors: Glamorous Green, Titanium Silver, and Midnight Black. In Malaysia, the phone is priced at RM 999 (around ₱11,900).
There’s no news yet of its availability in other regions. But it will go up against mid-range heavyweights from Samsung, OPPO, realme, and vivo.
