HONOR has launched the HONOR 600 Series in the Philippines. In this review, we’re taking a closer look at the base model — the HONOR 600.
Starting at ₱25,999, it’s the most affordable in the lineup. The phone packs a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, a 200MP camera, and a massive 7,000mAh battery. On paper, it looks impressive, but is it enough to be your next daily driver? Let’s find out.
Design & Display
The HONOR 600 has an eye-catching design, but not for reasons you might think. It looks like the iPhone 17 Pro, from its camera module layout to the striking orange color option.

I don’t think its knock against the phone’s design. It still looks good with a compact and lightweight body that measures 156 x 74.7 x 7.8mm and weighs just 190g. In fact, HONOR did not scrimp on materials. It feels premium in the hand with a solid build, thanks to the matte metal frame and a composite fiber back with a frosted finish.
Up front, you have a flat 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 2728×1264 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 8,000 nits. Outdoor visibility is excellent, even under direct sunlight.

Bezels are impressively thin at only 0.98mm, which adds to the phone’s already compact structure. The screen itself has vibrant colors and deep blacks, while overall visuals are sharp.
Durability is what HONOR devices are known for, and the HONOR 600 is no exception. It boasts an IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, which means you get full dust protection and resistance against high‑pressure, high‑temperature water jets. It also comes with SGS Drop and Crush-Resistant certification, which is great for daily use.

Beyond the display, the phone has dual speakers, which offer good audio, a dedicated AI button, and a fast and responsive in‑display fingerprint scanner for added security and quick unlocking.
Performance
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor inside the phone offers solid performance. Our review unit came with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, running on MagicOS 10 (Android 16).

The interface feels clean, though it looks a bit dated, and navigation remains smooth with a handful of useful features.
For longevity, reports say the phone will get 6 years of major updates and 6 years of security patches, keeping it secure until 2032.
Like most phones, though, the HONOR 600 ships with pre‑installed bloatware. I recommend that you uninstall or disable apps you don’t need. They not only take up space, but can also add background processes that could drain the battery and push pesky notifications.
In everyday use, the phone feels fast, smooth, and responsive. Gaming performance is also reliable, with most titles able to run well at default or high graphics settings.
Benchmark scores confirm our experience:
- AnTuTu Benchmark v11: 1,281,180
- Geekbench 6: 1,031 single-core / 3,654 multi-core
- 3DMark Wild Life: 7,416
Battery & Charging
The HONOR 600 packs a 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging and 27W reverse charging. There’s no wireless charging support. It’s not unusual, but it would have been nice to have. Despite the huge capacity, the phone remains relatively compact.
In our review, endurance was solid. It lasted a day with regular to heavy use. Some users may still need to top up at night, though.
On the PCMark Work 3.0 Battery Life test, the phone managed 12 hours and 11 minutes. We run our tests at 80% brightness, muted volume, adaptive refresh rate, and airplane mode enabled. This translates to around 8 hours and 51 minutes of screen-on time.

I honestly expected more hours from the benchmark. One possible factor is the display’s extreme brightness. At 80%, the panel pushes around 6,400 nits, which is still very high and likely impacts endurance.
Charging speeds are impressive. Using the bundled 80W charger, a full charge took roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes. It’s fast, considering the massive battery capacity.
Cameras
The HONOR 600 is equipped with a dual camera setup, headlined by a 200MP main sensor with an f/1.9 lens, paired with a 12MP ultra‑wide/macro lens. Up front, a 50MP selfie camera sits under a small hole‑punch cutout.

The main sensor delivers excellent clarity in daylight, but it truly earns its “Night Camera” branding in low light. Thanks to the AI RAW Large Model and CIPA 6.0‑grade stabilization, night shots came out looking bright and punchy. The way it controls highlights and recovers shadows rivals more expensive devices.
Dynamic range is also strong, especially in high‑contrast outdoor scenes and tricky indoor lighting. Cloud details are preserved, and bright LED signage does not blow out. Colors lean toward a more “social‑ready” look, which are vibrant and saturated enough to pop, yet still show natural skin tones and skies.
Sharpness can occasionally look a bit aggressive, with visible halos around fine edges. However, the overall effect is crisp, high‑definition-looking frames at first glance.

The 200MP sensor also shines in detail retrieval. Its AI Super Zoom 2.0 handles magnifications effectively, even without a dedicated telephoto lens. At 2x and 4x, in‑sensor crops still retain good texture. Zooming in higher, you’ll start getting that “painting” effect where it looks like the AI is trying to guess the textures it can no longer make out.
The 50MP front camera follows suit, capturing fine hair strands and skin textures without the “blurry mess” common in mid-range competitors. Though it does apply some smoothing that honors the brand’s aesthetic.
Overall, the HONOR 600 camera system looks better than its price in the mid-range segment. It balances hardware power with aggressive yet effective AI processing to deliver a “point-and-shoot” experience you’re confident to share on social media.

Final Thoughts

As the base model in HONOR’s latest mid‑range lineup, the HONOR 600 delivers more than expected. For the price, you’re getting standout features like a vibrant 6.57‑inch AMOLED display, a compact body, a capable Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, and cameras that punch above their weight.
It’s not without flaws. The 7,000mAh battery could have performed better in testing, though it still lasts a full day with decent charging speeds. HONOR’s MagicOS 10 also feels like it needs a refresh, as the UI is starting to look dated.
Still, the HONOR 600 is a strong all‑rounder. If you don’t mind the iPhone‑inspired aesthetics, you’re getting a stylish mid‑range device with a solid set of features that make it a reliable daily driver.
