realme VP said new “Note” smartphone coming to the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, and more

Following the teaser of a new Note Series by realme’s CEO, another executive revealed the first markets to get the phone. The Note Series is a new product line from the fast-growing smartphone brand.

In a post on X, Chase Xu, vice president of realme and president of realme Global Marketing, said the new Note Series is coming to the Philippines, as well as to Vietnam, Thailand, Italy, Bangladesh, and Myanmar.

“We are about to launch our “Note” in the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Italy, Bangladesh and Myanmar,” wrote Xu. “It is the first product and a new beginning for a very extensive series. Tell us your expectations on specs and we will make it real.”

Some reports identified two smartphones under the Note Series: the realme Note 1 and the realme 50.

The realme Note 1 could have a 6.67-inch FHD OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner, a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, a triple camera setup with 108MP+8MP+2MP setup, dual speakers, and a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

Meanwhile, the realme Note 50 is suggested to have a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS display, a Unisoc chipset, dual cameras with a 13MP+0.8MP setup, and a 5MP selfie camera.

realme has not revealed any details about the upcoming realme Note Series, but the phones are tipped to launch on January 24, 2024.

The realme Note Series is expected to compete with other popular mid-range and budget smartphone series, such as the Infinix Note 30 and the Redmi Note 13, and devices from Samsung and OPPO as well.
