realme Note 50 to launch in the Philippines for P3,599

realme Philippines officially announced the impending arrival of the realme Note 50, a new product line of budget phones from the fast-growing smartphone brand. The Philippines is one of the first countries to launch the realme Note 50 with the Global HQ, showing the importance of the local market for the company.

The realme Note 50 looks to be a rebadged realme C51 with some updates. It will have a 6.74-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate, an 8-core Unisoc T612 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a 13MP main camera. It comes in Sky Blue and Midnight Black colors and has a 7.99 mm ultra-slim design with IP54 dust and water resistance.

The realme Note 50 will be priced at P3,599, making it one of the most affordable phones in its category.

In an open letter, realme CEO Sky Li wrote, “The birth of the Note series is not just the introduction of a product or an increase in market share; it is our response to challenges and an expectation for the future. We firmly believe that the greatness of technology lies not only in innovation but also in its popularization. For us, our products embody our dreams.”

Li also shared realme’s new product strategy for 2024, named “Top to Bottom Expansion,” which aims to expand its product portfolios to both the premium and budget segments. The brand-new Note series is positioned as “long-lasting value,” reflecting the company’s commitment to excellence in the entry-level smartphone market.
