realme P4R launches with 8000mAh battery, MediaTek chip

realme has launched the realme P4R, a budget phone with a huge 8000mAh battery, in India. It’s now open for pre‑orders, with sales starting June 17.

The phone has a 6.8‑inch IPS LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate and 720p+ resolution. Under the hood, the P4R runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with 4GB RAM, upgradeable to 6GB. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB UFS 2.2, expandable via microSD.

Like the rest of the P4 Series, the 8000mAh battery is its main selling point. realme claims up to 12 hours of gaming, 61 hours of calls, and 169 hours of music playback. Charging is handled by 45W PPS fast charging.

For cameras, the P4R carries a 50MP main shooter and an 8MP front camera. Durability is also improved with IP65 water resistance and drop testing from 1.8 meters. An RGB notification light sits on the back.

Color options include Silver Glare, Lavender Glare, and Titanium Glare. Pricing in India starts at ₹19,000 (around ₱12,200/$200), with higher storage and RAM variants going up to ₹23,000 (around ₱14,800/$240).

Philippine availability has yet to be confirmed.
