OPPO Reno12 F 5G Coming Soon

If you’re looking for a keyboard and mouse combo that’s easy to use and carry, you might want to check out the Logitech Pebble Keys 2 and Pebble Mouse 2.

These devices are not only light and compact but also silent and eco-friendly. They have a sleek and minimalist design and a range of features that make them versatile and convenient.

But how do they perform in real life? And are they worth your money? Find out in this review.

Design and Portability

The Logitech Pebble Keys 2 K380s is a slim and lightweight keyboard that measures 124x279x16 mm and weighs only 415 g. It has the same minimalist design as the first Logitech K380 that launched in 2015, complete with round and oblong keys.

The keyboard has a standard layout, including 12 F-keys, navigation keys, and control keys. It also has a set of shortcut keys that include the Easy Switch and media keys.

The round keys are smaller than your usual square, but they are easy to type. However, the navigation keys are smaller, which means those with larger digits will have a harder time hitting them.

At the bottom, you have the battery compartment for two AAA batteries and four rubber pads that do a good job of keeping it in place on a desk or surface. The power switch is on the left side with an LED indicator.

The keyboard is easy to carry and fits in any bag or backpack, thanks to its slim frame and smooth corners. However, its sleek and clean design means it would also look good on any desk setup.

The Logitech Pebble Mouse 2 M350s, on the other hand, is an odd round-shaped wireless Bluetooth mouse that measures 106.7×58.7×26.62 mm and weighs only 76 g. It has a similar minimalistic design with a flat profile.

The mouse is also made of recycled plastics and has a smooth and matte finish. The color also matches the Pebble Keys 2.

The mouse has a scroll wheel and three buttons (Left/Right-click, scroll-wheel with middle click). It has a DPI range of 400-4000 dpi, which can be adjusted via the Logi Options+ app.

The top panel of the mouse is removable, and held in place by magnets. Underneath the panel, you have the battery compartment for one AA battery and a slot for a Logi Bolt USB receiver, which is sold separately.

At the bottom, you can find the power button and the Easy Switch button, which allows you to switch between up to three devices.

Performance

Both the Logitech Pebble Keys 2 and the Pebble Mouse 2 connect via Bluetooth Low Energy Technology, which consumes less power and offers a stable connection. They are also compatible with the Logi Bolt USB receiver, which doesn’t come with the retail package.

Both the Logitech Pebble Keys 2 and Pebble Mouse 2 have multi-device pairing, which means you can connect them to up to three devices, such as a laptop, a tablet, and a smartphone.

We tested the devices on a Windows laptop, an iPad, and an Android phone. Switching between them was quick and easy, requiring only a tap of a button. To pair the devices, you need to press and hold any of the Easy Switch buttons until the LED starts to blink. Then, on your device, add the keyboard or mouse via Bluetooth as you normally would.

The Logitech Pebble Keys 2 offers a comfortable typing experience, although it might take some time to get used to the short key travel distance. The keys are responsive and tactile, and the volume shortcut keys are very convenient.

The Logitech Pebble Mouse 2, on the other hand, is also very smooth and precise and works well on most surfaces. It took me some time to get used to its shape and size, but once you do, it’s pretty ergonomic and comfortable to use.

The Pebble Keys 2 and Pebble Mouse 2 are also great for use in an office, library, or any other quiet environment as both are very silent. They barely make any sound when typing or clicking.

Battery

According to Logitech, the battery life of the Logitech Pebble Keys 2 can last up to 36 months, while the battery life of the Logitech Pebble Mouse 2 can last up to 24 months. Logitech devices do have a solid history when it comes to longevity, so I’ll take their word for it.

The keyboard is powered by two AAA batteries, while the mouse is powered by one AA battery. The devices also have a battery indicator LED, which flashes red when the battery is low.

Final Remarks

The Logitech Pebble Keys 2 and Pebble Mouse 2 are a great combo for anyone who needs a portable and silent keyboard and mouse. They are easy to use, easy to carry, and easy to connect and switch between devices. They also have a minimalist and eco-friendly design and a long battery life.

The Logitech Pebble Keys 2 K380s is priced at P2,145, while the Logitech Pebble Mouse 2 M350s is priced at P1,335. You can buy them from the official Logitech website, online on Shopee and Lazada, or from authorized retailers.
