vivo Y100 5G launched with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, 50MP camera

It's packed full of features, including a 50MP main camera and stereo speakers.

vivo launched its latest 5G smartphone, the vivo Y100 5G, in Indonesia. The phone offers an AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, a 50MP triple camera setup, and an 80W fast-charging battery.

The vivo Y100 5G features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080, a 120Hz refresh rate, a max brightness of 1200 nits, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset with 8GB of RAM and two storage options: 128GB and 256GB.

The vivo Y100 5G also boasts a triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a flicker sensor. It also has an 8MP selfie camera in front.

The phone runs on Funtouch OS 14, based on Android 14, and has a 5000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. It also has an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance, stereo speakers, and hi-res audio certification.

The vivo Y100 5G is available in Black Onyx and Purple Orchid colors. The 8GB+128GB model is priced at IDR 3,899,000 (P13,900 / USD 246), while the 8GB+256GB model is IDR 4,199,000 (P15,000 / USD 265).

There is no news about the phone’s launch in the Philippines and other markets. However, given the features, the vivo Y100 5G will surely compete for attention against other mid-range devices from Samsung, OPPO, and realme.
