A 36-year-old sari-sari store owner received a surprise when she won an iPhone 15 from Smart and GrowSari, a tech-enabled platform that helps micro-entrepreneurs grow their businesses.

Grace, who has been running her store for five years, said she joined the raffle promo by Smart and GrowSari after becoming one of the top 20 active sellers on the platform.

“I did not expect to win this prize,” Grace said during the awarding ceremony held in her store this month. “I am grateful to Smart and GrowSari for this reward.”

Grace started using GrowSari in 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, after seeing it on Facebook. She said the platform helped her save time and money by providing free and fast delivery of grocery products and additional services such as telco load, bills payment, e-commerce, WiFi, and other e-services.

She also said that her loading business is a steady source of income for her store. She can earn up to P3,000 a day from selling load products such as GIGA Video 50 and All Out Surf 20.

Smart has been a partner of GrowSari since 2020, allowing the telco to reach more customers through its fast-expanding network of sari-sari stores nationwide. Smart and GrowSari launched the raffle promo to reward and inspire their active sellers as they enter the new year.

GrowSari is a business-to-business platform that aims to help millions of sari-sari stores like Grace’s gain access to affordable and on-demand inventory, working capital credit lines, and seamless ordering and delivery of goods through their strong distribution hubs.
