Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra launch to global market

The Xiaomi 14 Pro remains a China-only model.

Xiaomi finally launched the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra for the global market. As expected, the two devices made the lineup as the Xiaomi 14 Pro remains a China-only model.

The smartphones were already unveiled in China. So, there’s nothing new to see here.

The Xiaomi 14 has a 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K 2670×1200 resolution, a variable 1-120Hz refresh rate, and a max brightness of 3000 nits. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with 12GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB configurations.

It has three 50MP cameras at the back for the primary, ultra-wide, and telephoto cameras. They’re all equipped with Leica Vario-Summilux lenses. The selfie camera uses a 32MP sensor.

The phone runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS operating system. It also features a 4610mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.

Next is the Xiaomi 14 Ultra with a larger 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a WQHD+ 3200×1440 resolution, a variable 1-120Hz refresh rate, and a max brightness of 3000 nits.

It also has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. This one has four 50MP cameras at the rear. A Sony LYT-900 sensor with OIS backs the main camera. At the same time, the remaining three cameras have a Sony IMX858 sensor. They’re also supported by Leica Vario-Summilux lenses. A 32MP front sensor powers the selfie camera.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a 5000mAh battery. In contrast, the one released in China has a larger 5300mAh capacity. The phone also runs on HyperOS.

Price

As for the prices, the compact Xiaomi 14 is available in Black, White, and Jade Green with a starting price of EUR 1,000. The handset is coming to the Philippines soon, as local pricing already leaked online. It will go for P45,999 for the 256GB model and P47,999 for the 512GB model.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have a price of EUR 1,500 (around P90,800) for the 16GB+512GB model. It comes in either Black or White colors. There’s no news yet of a local launch.
