Samsung Galaxy M55 5G now official with 50MP selfie camera, 120Hz AMOLED

It also has a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

Samsung launched the Galaxy M55 in Brazil. Compared to the Galaxy A55 5G, the Galaxy M55 has a different chipset, a larger display, and a faster charging speed.

The Galaxy M55 5G has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a peak brightness of 1000 nits.

The phone has a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. It also has a 50MP selfie camera in front, tucked under a hole-punch cutout.

The Galaxy M55 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also has a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G is priced at BRL 2,999 (P33,800 or USD 600). It comes in Green and Blue colors. It is expected to arrive in other regions soon. There’s no information yet if the Philippines will be one of them. The phone will compete with other mid-range phones from other brands, such as OPPO, OnePlus, vivo, and Xiaomi.
