The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G are now available in the Philippines. Until April 18, 2024, the phones come with a free Buds FE worth P5,490 and a Free Travel Adapter worth P1,190. Moreover, you can get an additional P5,000 off when you trade in your old phone for an A55 5G or up to P3,000 for an A35 5G.
The Galaxy A55 5G with 8GB+256GB is priced at P24,990. The Galaxy A35 5G with a similar configuration is priced at P20,990.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G is the predecessor of 2023’s best-selling Android phone, the Galaxy A54 5G. The Galaxy A55 5G has a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, a peak brightness of 1100 nits, and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.
It is powered by an Exynos 1480 chipset with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a large 5000mAh battery.
Like its predecessor, the Galaxy A55 5G has a triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP macro lens. In front, it has a 32MP selfie camera in a hole-punch cutout.
The Galaxy A35 5G, on the other hand, also has a 120Hz 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display, battery, and RAM/storage configuration. However, the phone is powered by an Exynos 1380 chipset.
It has a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP macro lens. The selfie camera is a 13MP shooter.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G with 8GB+256GB is priced at P24,990, while the Galaxy A35 5G with 8GB+256GB is priced at P20,990.
