Samsung rolls out Galaxy A16 One UI 9.0 update

Samsung has started rolling out the Galaxy A16 One UI 9.0 update based on Android 17. The stable update is now available in South Korea.

The rollout covers both the Galaxy A16 LTE and Galaxy A16 5G. It comes after Samsung completed testing through three beta releases.

One UI 9.0 brings a number of changes to the phone. Users will find a refreshed interface, more Quick Panel customization options, and updates to Samsung DeX and Samsung Notes.

Samsung also included new accessibility features and a location privacy indicator. These give users more control over their device and help improve the overall experience.

For Galaxy A16 owners, this is one of the biggest software updates yet. It delivers Android 17 along with Samsung’s latest One UI features, keeping the phone up to date with the company’s newer devices.

The update is part of Samsung’s wider One UI 9.0 rollout. Other Galaxy models, including the Galaxy A07, Galaxy A17, Galaxy A55, Galaxy M16, and Galaxy M36, are also receiving updates.
