Apple unveils iPad Air with M2 chip, introduces all-new 13-inch model; priced in the Philippines

The M2 chip delivers up to 3x performance boost compared to the previous generation iPad Air with A14 Bionic.

Apple unveils the redesigned 11-inch and an all-new 13-inch iPad Air. Both boast the powerful M2 chip, delivering a substantial performance leap for users.

iPad Air M2

The new iPad Airs retain the stunning Liquid Retina display with P3 wide color, True Tone technology, and an anti-reflective coating for comfortable viewing in various lighting conditions.

Under the hood is the M2 chip which houses an 8-core CPU and a 10-core GPU, resulting in a 3x performance boost compared to the previous generation iPad Air powered by the A14 Bionic chip.

iPad Air M2 Specs

The new iPad Air also runs on iPadOS 17 and offers increased storage flexibility with options ranging from 128GB to a whopping 1TB.

On the camera front, a 12MP wide sensor graces the back, while a 12MP front camera has been repositioned for a landscape orientation. The tablets boast next-generation connectivity with Wi-Fi 6E and 5G support (cellular models only) via eSIM. It also offers a versatile USB-C port that allows for fast charging and data transfer.
