Acer announces its first Copilot+ PC, the Swift 14 AI. It comes in a thin-and-light aluminum chassis and features a range of optimized AI features for enhanced productivity and mobility.

If you’re unfamiliar, Copilot+ PC is Microsoft’s branding for a new category of Windows PCs designed for AI. These are compact and powerful Windows machines equipped with hardware capable of handling advanced AI workloads.

The Acer Swift 14 AI is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite series chipsets with an integrated NPU, capable of delivering 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS). Built for AI, the chip features 12 high-performance CPU cores on a 4nm process node, an integrated Qualcomm Adreno GPU, and Qualcomm Hexagon NPU.

The laptop also comes with up to 32GB LPDDR5X-8533 RAM and up to 1TB NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD. It has a 14.5-inch WQXGA IPS display with a 2560×1600 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 100% sRGB. It can also be configured with a touchscreen option.

This Copilot+ PC comes with Windows Hello and supports biometric and facial recognition login for quick and secure access.

It also boasts Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and offers a generous selection of ports, including two USB Type-C and two USB 3.2 Type-A ports.
