OPPO will soon launch its most durable phone yet. The OPPO A60 is coming to the Philippines and it features military-grade durability that can withstand the rigors of daily life.

OPPO A60

The OPPO A60 launched in Vietnam last month, so we pretty much know what the phone is all about. But what wasn’t highlighted last time was its durability.

The A60 is certified with US Military-Grade Shock Resistance and it has been tested to survive harsh conditions, heavy vibrations, bumpy roads, and falls from heights of up to 1.22 meters.

Moreover, it has an IP54-rated build, which means protection from dust and splashes, and includes a Splash Touch feature, ensuring touchscreen accuracy even with wet or oily fingers.

At the front, the phone has a 6.67-inch HD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 950 nits. It also has a 50MP Ultra-Clear Dual Camera at the back and a 5,000mAh battery capacity under the hood with 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging.

The OPPO A60 comes in Ripple Blue and Midnight Purple. The variant in Vietnam came with 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB configurations.

As for the pricing, it hasn’t been revealed yet. However, representatives from OPPO PH did mention it would be affordable. Expect the handset to compete against other prominent budget phones from the likes of Samsung, realme, and vivo.

The OPPO A60 has been sent out to various members of the media as well, including our publication. Stay tuned for our unboxing and review.
