Swatch’s new “Mission on Earth” MoonSwatch Collection to launch on June 15 worldwide

Swatch is gearing up to launch its latest MoonSwatch collection, which features three new timepieces inspired by our planet’s diverse landscapes. The “Mission on Earth” series includes the Lava, Polar Lights, and Desert variants. It will be available on June 15 at select stores worldwide.

The new MoonSwatch collection has Bioceramic cases, crowns, and pushers, each with a matching color scheme. The recessed subdials, a nod to the Speedmaster Alaska II and III projects, are outfitted with white rings, Arabic numerals, and radial indexes. A tachymeter scale also graces the bezel, adding a touch of classic Speedmaster flair.

The dials display the OMEGA X Swatch logo, the Speedmaster emblem, and the MoonSwatch branding. Common across all models is the box-shaped biosourced glass, the subtle “S” etched in the center, and the intricate circular pattern adorning the dial’s outer ring.

The angular lugs, the “dot over 90” detail on the tachymeter scale, and the comfortable Bioceramic construction complete the design.

For low-light visibility, the hour and minute hands, along with the chronograph seconds hand tip, are coated with Super-LumiNova.

Local Availability

While the global launch is set for June 15, the arrival of the “Mission on Earth” collection in the Philippines remains unclear. Neither the Swatch website nor its local Instagram page provide any information.

But if it is coming to the Philippines, it will likely be at the Swatch store in Greenbelt 5 where the all-white and all-black Snoopy MoonSwatch launched for PHP 18,000.

As for the pricing, the “Mission on Earth” collection in the US costs USD 270 (roughly PHP 15,000). Expect the SRP in other regions to be somewhere in that range. For more information, keep an eye out on Swatch’s official channels.
