Swatch Mission to the Super Blue Moonphase is coming to the Philippines this August

Swatch is bringing its “Mission to the Super Blue Moonphase” chronograph to the Philippines, available only for a limited time.

This special edition watch boasts a vibrant blue theme, echoing the upcoming blue moon phenomenon on August 19. The 42mm Bioceramic case, Velcro strap, and even the pulsometer bezel are all bathed in various shades of blue.

The highlight, however, is the moon phase complication. Two oversized blue moons dominate the subdial at 2 o’clock, while the moon phase disc rotates, revealing a hidden detail under UV light. A moon with different shades of blue is further incorporated into the battery cover.

This chronograph also features Super-LumiNova-coated hands to ensure easy readability in low-light conditions. Additionally, the Bioceramic material offers a lightweight and scratch-resistant build.

While the core design elements pay homage to the iconic Omega Speedmaster, the pulsometer bezel is a first for the Bioceramic MoonSwatch collection.

Limited Availability

The “Mission to the Super Blue Moonphase” is priced at Php 18,000 in the Philippines. According to a post from Swatch PH, it will be available for purchase from August 1 to 19, 2024, exclusively from select Swatch Stores. Sales will start from 5 pm onwards.

As for which branches will carry the timepiece, you can check the Swatch Stores in Greenbelt 5, Glorietta, SM Megamall, Trinoma, and Rockwell.
