New Thermal Design

Lenovo revolutionized the thermal design with the Legion Coldfront Hyper, exclusive to the Lenovo Legion 7i and Lenovo Legion 5i. The system optimizes heat management by transforming the chassis’s airflow and channeling the chips’ hot air through a central hyperbaric chamber.

Furthermore, the bottom D-cover isolates the expelled hot air from the cold air drawn in by dual fans allowing for higher frame rates during game sessions.

The Lenovo LOQ also received an upgrade, where hyperchamber thermal technology can draw out up to an additional 25W of power in Extreme Mode while maintaining skin temperatures up to 2°C cooler. Fan noise is also reduced as compared to the last generation.
