The stage is set for the conclusion of the realme Mobile Legends Cup (RMC) Season 8. After a season of intense competition, Gamerpact Esports and Minerva Esports will face each other in the Grand Finals on July 20, 2024, at the Glorietta 4 Activity Center in Makati City.
Known as the biggest Esports tournament for amateur Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) players, RMC Season 8 began in May with over 150 teams. After a series of online and on-ground qualifiers, the top eight emerged to battle their way through the quarterfinals and semifinals. Now, only Gamerpact and Minerva remain and clash for the coveted championship title.
The grand champion will walk away with a hefty Php 500,000 cash prize. Each member of the winning team will also get a realme GT 6. The runner-up team will receive Php 200,000 and a realme 12 Pro+ 5G for each player.
Adding to the excitement, the Grand Finals will also feature an all-stars show match between the legendary MLBB M5 World Champions and MSC 2024 Grand Finalists, Falcons AP Bren, and a team composed of professional esports players H2WO, Ch4knu, Benthings, Oheb, and Wise.
Fan-favorite casters OSX, Rockhart, Butters, Brigida, Burrito, and Ingan will provide commentary on both the Grand Finals and the show match. Esports broadcaster Sonah will host the event with a special performance by musician Al James.
Fans are invited to watch the RMC Grand Finals Season 8 with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is powered by the realme GT 6 and presented by Hybreed Philippines, Gong Cha, SteelSeries, and Home Credit.
