realme Mobile Legends Cup returns for 8th season

RMC Season 8 is open to all-male, all-female, or mixed-gender teams.

The realme Mobile Legends Cup is back for its 8th season. Registration is now open to teams interested in joining the national esports tournament.

RMC Season 8 is open to all-male, all-female, or mixed-gender teams. Teams can sign up through bit.ly/RMCS8RegFormSMNE until May 25 at 1 p.m.

To qualify, teams must have five players who are 15 years old or older. During registration, all minors must provide written consent from their guardians. Sleeveless tops, shorts, and slippers are strictly prohibited on the stage.

On-ground qualifiers are set on May 25, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the SM North Edsa Annex Event Center. Teams must fight to the top and secure their spot for the quarter-finals bracket in June.

To recap, realme closed Season 7 with a one million peso prize pool. Z4 Esports Pegaxy and Smart Omega Empress were hailed as champions in their respective divisions. Meanwhile, Smart Omega Empress made history as the first-ever champion of RMC’s inaugural Women’s League.

The winning team also joined the qualifiers for the International Esports Federation World’s Esports Championship in Romania, thanks in part to a partnership with the Philippine Esports Organization (PESO).
