ColorOS 17 update rolls out to supported realme phones

ColorOS 17 rolls out to supported realme phones starting October 29, 2026. The update first lands on the realme GT 8 Pro series before reaching more devices in the coming days and weeks.

The rollout begins with the realme GT 8 Pro and realme GT 8 Pro Dream Edition on October 29. On October 30, realme will expand availability to the realme GT 7 Pro, realme 16 Pro+ 5G, and realme 16 Pro 5G.

More devices are lined up for November 2026. These include the realme GT 7, realme GT 7 Dream Edition, and realme GT 7T. Several Number series phones are also on the list, including the realme 16 5G, realme 16 Lite 5G, realme 15 Pro 5G, realme 15 5G, realme 15x 5G, and realme 15T 5G.

The update is also coming to the realme P4 Pro 5G and realme P4 5G. Narzo users are not left out either, with the realme Narzo 90 5G and realme Narzo 90x 5G scheduled to receive ColorOS 17 in November.

As with most software releases, realme said the rollout will happen in batches. That means even if your phone is eligible, the update may not show up right away. Availability could also vary depending on your region and carrier.

realme also noted that some ColorOS 17 features may differ between devices because of hardware limitations. The published schedule gives a rollout window, but it does not show the exact order in which every phone will receive the update.
