OPPO has expanded its budget-friendly 5G lineup with the launch of the F27 5G in India. While not as durable as the F27 Pro+, it shares many similarities with the recently introduced Reno12 F 5G in the Philippines.
The F27 5G packs a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with an FHD resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 2100 nits. Under the hood, it has a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.
Moreover, the phone has a dual camera setup (the Reno12 F’s triple cameras), consisting of a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. It also has a 32MP shooter in front for selfies and video calls.
Powered by a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging, the device promises to retain 80% of its original capacity after four years of daily use. It also brings several AI functionalities, including AI Studio, AI Eraser 2.0, AI Portrait Retouching, and other interesting features like Beacon Link.
Lastly, the phone boasts an IP64 dust- and water-resistant build, a rugged Armour Body construction, and the Halo Light, which lights up in response to music, calls, charging, and notifications.
The OPPO F27 5G comes in Amber Orange and Emerald Green colors. In India, it is available in two storage configurations: 8GB+128GB for INR 23,000 (around Php 15,500) and 8GB+256GB for INR 25,000 (Php 16,800).
