HONOR is leading the way in inclusive technology with its upcoming AI-powered eye-tracking feature. This innovation lets users with reduced mobility interact with their smartphones using only their eyes.
The feature is launching on August 27 and addresses a critical need for those challenged by ALS and other degenerative conditions.
HONOR is also actively researching non-invasive brain-computer interface (BCI) technology, creating even more possibilities for people with disabilities. Early trials had positive results, showcasing BCI’s transformative potential in enabling communication through brain signals.
To bring attention back to the ALS community while paying tribute to the challengers who live with the disease, BBC StoryWorks Commercial Productions has produced a short film featuring the powerful story of artist and ALS challenger Bernard Muller.
The film demonstrates how Bernard Muller uses eye-tracking technology to express himself through artwork, demonstrating the power of AI in making life more enjoyable for people with disabilities.
