Budget-friendly Redmi Pad SE 8.7 debuts in Europe

Xiaomi has unveiled a new addition to its Redmi Pad lineup in Europe. The Redmi Pad SE 8.7, available in Wi-Fi and 4G variants, offers a budget-friendly tablet experience.

The Pad SE 8.7 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor with configurations of up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It has an 8.7-inch display with a 1340×800 resolution and boasts a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the display has a peak brightness of 600 nits and supports a 10-bit color depth that can display a billion colors.

The tablet is equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calls. It offers immersive audio with Dolby Atmos-enabled stereo speakers.

The Pad SE 8.7 also includes an FM radio and connectivity options that include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and an IR blaster.

Xiaomi’s HyperOS, built on top of Android U, powers the device. It also has a long-lasting 6650mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging via USB-C.

The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 comes in three colors: Graphite Gray, Aurora Green, and Sky Blue. The pricing starts at EUR 150 (approximately Php 9400) for the Wi-Fi-only 4GB+64GB model, while the 4GB+64GB LTE variant retails for EUR 180 (Php 11,300).

So far, there’s no information regarding availability in the Philippines and other regions.
