ASUS announced the ROG Phone 9 Series will launch on November 19, 2024. The new gaming smartphones will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, making them some of the most powerful mobile gaming devices on the market.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite was recently unveiled at the Snapdragon Summit 2024, offering a significant performance boost over its predecessor. Its Oryon CPU features eight cores, including two prime cores and six performance cores.

In addition to the powerful hardware, the ROG Phone 9 Series will also leverage AI technology to enhance the mobile gaming experience. The series is expected to feature a new design with AniMe Vision mini-LED lights at the rear, along with a retro experience with the gaming triggers.
While specific details about the ROG Phone 9 Series are still limited, rumors suggest that they may include up to 24GB of RAM, up to 1TB of internal storage, 65W wired charging, and an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.
