HBO Max to replace HBO GO in the Philippines this November, subcription plans unveiled

One of the most affordable streaming services is getting a major makeover. HBO Max will replace HBO GO starting November 19, 2024. It will be available in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, as well as Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Don’t worry, though, the transition will be smooth. Existing HBO GO subscriptions will automatically become Max subscriptions, meaning you won’t need to re-subscribe.

So what does Max offer? It boasts a bigger library than its predecessor. It’ll still have all the HBO classics including Harry Potter, the DC Universe, and the Cartoon Network, but it also adds content from Warner Bros., and Discovery, just to name a few.
