OPPO’s ColorOS 15 is getting a major AI upgrade, thanks to a partnership with Google.
At the heart of this partnership is Google’s Gemini AI. The AI model will power a range of features in ColorOS 15, allowing users to do more things from writing emails to summarizing documents, and even brainstorming ideas.
Some of the Google AI-powered features coming to ColorOS 15 include the following:
- AI-Powered Productivity: ColorOS 15 will leverage Gemini to boost productivity apps like Notes and Documents. The AI can help quickly rewrite and refine text, summarize lengthy documents, and generate creative content.
- Intelligent Voice Recording: The new AI Recording Summary feature will automatically transcribe and summarize voice recordings.
- Circle to Search: ColorOS 15 introduces Circle to Search, allowing users to search for information directly from their home screen. Simply long-press the home button or navigation bar to activate the search tool.
- Google Gemini: The dedicated Google Gemini app will be available on ColorOS 15, providing access to a wide range of AI-powered features.
At the moment, OPPO has not yet revealed which devices will get the update. However, the OS will launch alongside OPPO’s Find X8 Series on November 21. Stay tuned.
