HONOR is set to start 2025 with a bang. The company will soon introduce the HONOR X9c 5G to the Philippines, which they’re confidently calling the toughest phone of the year. The official launch is scheduled for January 10th via HONOR’s Facebook page.
“This is our biggest launch ever and we’re excited to drop this while we welcome 2025! This smartphone is stronger with its All-Angle Ultra Defense. HONOR X9c 5G is now water, drop, and heat-resistant. Mark your calendars on January 10 and get to know the toughest phone of 2025,” said Stephen Cheng, HONOR Philippines Vice President.
The HONOR X9c 5G takes phone durability to the next level with an “All-Angle Triple Defense” system. This technology has earned the phone an SGS 5-Star rating for Drop Resistance, exceeding industry standards by surviving drops of up to 2 meters (roughly 6.56 feet).
Moreover, the smartphone boasts an IP65M water resistance rating, meaning it can withstand submersion in up to 25 centimeters (9.84 inches) of water for a maximum of 5 minutes, shrugging off accidental splashes or quick dips in the pool.
HONOR adds another impressive feature to reinforce its reputation for durability – heat resistance. The phone can survive a “boiling test,” enduring extreme temperatures ranging from a frigid -40°C to a scorching 70°C.
