Honor Magic7 Pro latest phone to get 5 years of OS and security updates

The HONOR Magic7 Pro is the latest phone, promised to receive five years of Android updates and five years of security patches. The phone was unveiled in China in November of last year.

HONOR is the latest brand to offer four years or more of major OS updates, joining a prestigious group that includes Apple, Google, Samsung, OPPO, OnePlus, and Xiaomi (for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra).

The Magic7 Pro boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with up to 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom.

The flagship features a “micro quad curved” 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with a 2800×1280 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 5000 nits, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

The HONOR Magic7 Pro is available in silver, white, blue, and black colors.

Additionally, it has a large 5850mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless fast charging support and has an IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance certification. On the software side, it has MagicOS 9.0 on top of Android 15 and a host of AI features and capabilities.
