Reigning Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) World Champions ONIC Philippines has officially announced that they will be co-designing a special skin for the hero Joy. This collaboration with MOONTON Games is part of their M6 World Championship victory perks.
ONIC PH chose Joy to celebrate Cyric “K1ngkong” Perez’s performance at M6. K1ngkong often plays Joy and his skill with the hero has become a key aspect of his gameplay.
“Joy herself almost represents ONIC Philippines by her skills and color,” said Paul Denver “Coach Yeb” Lintag Miranda, ONIC Esports Vice President for Esports Franchise. “Joy is one of K1ngkong’s signature heroes and as I remember, when ONIC Philippines picked Joy, the crowd went crazy.”
Meanwhile, Grant “Kelra” Pillas, the M6 World Championship Finals MVP, will be co-designing a skin for Beatrix. As the “Gold Standard” of MLBB, Kelra is the first player to win Finals MVP in all three major MLBB tournaments: MPL, MSC, and M Series.
In 2019, Indonesia’s EVOS Legends chose to give Harith a commemorative M Champion skin. Bren Esports picked Lancelot and Blacklist International designed Estes after both Filipino teams won M2 and M3, respectively. ECHO co-designed an M4 Champion skin for Chou, while M5 World Champions AP Bren designed Brody for its champion skin, and Pacquito for its first-ever FMVP skin.
The in-game commemorative skins are expected to be released in September 2025. More details about the collaboration and upcoming activities will be announced soon.
