Apple has officially revealed the new iPad Air, now equipped with the powerful M3 chip. The latest iteration of the tablet comes in two sizes, 13-inch and 11-inch, both featuring Liquid Retina displays.
Under the hood, the new iPad Air is powered by the M3 chip, bringing Apple’s advanced graphics architecture to the platform. This upgrade delivers nearly 2x the speed compared to the iPad Air with the M1 chip and up to 3.5x the performance of the iPad Air with the A14 Bionic chip.
The iPad Air M3 features a 12MP rear camera that supports Smart HDR 4 and utilizes machine learning to detect and scan documents directly from the Camera app.
On the front, there is a 12MP camera equipped with Center Stage, which automatically pans and zooms to keep users centered in the frame during video calls.
The tablet promises all-day battery life, running on the latest iPadOS 18. It also supports 5G connectivity for the cellular model, Wi-Fi 6E, and Face ID for secure authentication.
Alongside the iPad Air, Apple has introduced the new Magic Keyboard, enhancing the tablet’s versatility with more capabilities at a lower price. This accessory transforms the iPad Air into a powerful productivity device, perfect for both work and play.
