Power Mac Center (PMC) and the Provincial Government of Bataan have teamed up to supply over 4,000 MacBook devices to local schools. This project aims to speed up digital transformation in classrooms, benefiting both grade school and high school teachers, as well as school heads and computer labs.
Governor Jose Enrique “Joet” Garcia III led the recent ceremony where these MacBook devices were handed over. This initiative is part of Bataan’s strategy to bring technology into education, making teaching and learning experiences better with digital tools and interactive platforms.
As a key partner, the Bataan government gets special support from PMC. This includes product procurement, priority servicing and repair, and technical training for teachers, school principals, and IT staff. The training covers how to use Mac devices effectively in education and helps educators innovate in their classrooms.
This investment aims to make Bataan’s students more competitive by giving them essential digital skills needed in today’s job market. This event is the second round of device distribution, following the successful handover to 2,500 junior and senior high school teachers and division supervisors in 2023.
