Apple has officially launched the iPad Air M3 and iPad A16 in the Philippines. You can now purchase the latest tablets at Power Mac Center, The Loop stores, and online platforms.
iPad Air M3: A Leap in Performance
The iPad Air M3 is powered by Apple’s M3 chip and comes in 11-inch and 13-inch models. Compared to the iPad Air with M1, the M3 delivers nearly twice the speed, while also outperforming the A14 Bionic-powered iPad Air by 3.5 times.
Photography and document scanning are also improved, thanks to a 12MP rear camera that supports Smart HDR 4. The tablet also uses machine learning to detect and scan documents directly from the Camera app. On the front, a 12MP Center Stage camera ensures automatic panning and zooming during video calls.
Running on iPadOS 18, the iPad Air M3 is fully capable of leveraging Apple Intelligence, Apple’s latest AI-driven features.
iPad A16: The 11th Generation iPad
Meanwhile, the iPad A16 marks the 11th generation of Apple’s standard iPad. Powered by the A16 chip.
Storage options now start at 128GB, with capacities reaching up to 512GB. The tablet sports an 11-inch Liquid Retina IPS display with a 2360×1640 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Both the front and rear cameras feature 12MP sensors, ensuring high-quality photos and video calls.
Unlike the iPad Air M3, the iPad A16 does not support Apple Intelligence despite running on iPadOS 18. It also retains Touch ID, integrated into the power button for secure authentication.
