The new look of Apple’s highly anticipated iPhone 17 Series has been revealed with leaked pre-production metal molds. These molds, typically used by third-party case makers, provide a glimpse into the lineup’s design and features.

The images, shared by X user Sonny Dickson, reveal changes in the camera layouts across the series, which includes the iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Air, and the base model iPhone 17.
The molds also highlight the variations in handset sizes and confirm the continued presence of key features like Dynamic Island, MagSafe, and a variety of button layouts, which include the volume rockers, Mute Switch, Action Button, and the new Camera Control button.
The iPhone 17 Air, in particular, stands out as the latest addition to the series. We’ve already seen via 3D printed mockups which showcased its sleek design and the horizontal camera module.

While the launch of the iPhone 17 Series is still months away, with September as the expected date, these molds offer an exciting early look at what’s to come. As we inch closer to the launch, more details are bound to surface. Stay tuned.
