Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 Air later this year. The upcoming handset promises to sport an ultra-slim frame with a revamped camera design.

Rumors about its thickness have been making rounds online, with speculations ranging from 5.5mm to 6mm. Regardless of the exact dimensions, one thing is clear — the iPhone 17 Air is going to be sleek.
Popular leaker Ice Universe recently shared 3D renders of what the phone could look like, showing its thin design and camera module. The images showcased the slim design and camera module. According to him, the iPhone 17 Air could feature a 6.9-inch display, boasting the same “length, width, screen size, and bezel” as the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Adding to the excitement, another well-known leaker, Majin Boo, who created a 3D-printed mockup based on CAD designs. This model was compared side-by-side with the iPhone 16 Pro Max, highlighting the new phone’s slim frame.


Feature-wise, the iPhone 17 Air seems to have similar button placements to current iPhones and a USB-C port. The front is expected to feature Dynamic Island and Face ID. We’ll have to wait until Q3 2025 to see how accurate these renders are, as that’s when Apple usually unveils its latest flagship iPhones.
