The wait is finally over! The much-anticipated remake of the classic anime YAIBA has officially landed on Netflix. YAIBA: Samurai Legend premiered with its first episode, now available to stream.
This updated version of Gosho Aoyama’s classic anime is produced by WIT Studio, the creators of Attack on Titan and Vinland Saga. Expect an action-packed adventure with stunning visuals that’s sure to captivate old fans and newcomers alike.
The show is based on a Japanese manga of the same name by Gosho Aoyama, published from 1988 to 1993.
The story follows Yaiba Kurogane, a young boy who dreams of being the best samurai. Armed with a magical Lightning Sword, Yaiba goes on adventures, battling powerful enemies and encountering mythical creatures. His main rival is Takeshi Onimaru, who has a magical Wind Sword. Along the way, Yaiba makes friends who help him in his journey and bring humor to the story.
