Canva has unveiled Canva Sheets, an AI-enhanced tool designed to simplify data processing while making spreadsheets more visually engaging. Canva Sheets is positioned to challenge Google Sheets, bringing a fresh, design-first approach to managing numbers and insights.
Canva Sheets is built with AI and aims to eliminate complex formulas and tedious formatting, replacing them with smart data processing tools. It features tools like Magic Insights and Magic Formulas that allow users to enter simple text commands, letting AI handle calculations instantly.
The platform is integrated with Canva’s Visual Suite, letting users transform data into charts, reports, infographics, and dashboards with drag-and-drop functionality. Unlike Google Sheets, which needs third-party add-ons for enhanced visuals, Canva Sheets offers these design features natively.
Canva Sheets is part of the newly announced Visual Suite 2.0, which includes other AI-enhanced tools, such as Canva AI, Canva Code, an upgraded Photo Editor, and more.
Canva offers include three subscription tiers tailored for different users in the Philippines:
- Free – Basic design tools
- Pro – ₱300/month or ₱2,500/year
- Teams – ₱230/month per user or ₱2,300/year per user
