vivo will launch the entry-level vivo Y29 in the Philippines on May 31, 2025. The smartphone features a powerful battery and a smooth display at a budget-friendly price.
The vivo Y29 has a 6.68-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. Under the hood, it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor. The device is also equipped with a massive 6500mAh BlueVolt battery, supported by 44W fast charging.
For optics, the handset is equipped with a 50MP main camera and an 8MP front-facing shooter. It also brings vivo’s dynamic light effects to the mix.
Other notable features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and enhanced durability, thanks to an IP64-certified build for dust and water resistance and an SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance certification, ensuring survival against accidents.
The vivo Y29 comes in two colors, Espresso Brown and Marble White, with a quad-curved back cover, first in the Y Series. Price and availability details will be revealed when the device launches on May 31. Stay tuned for further updates.
