Casio has officially entered the mechanical watch market with the launch of its first automatic timepiece under the Edifice series. The new EFK-100 collection features five models powered by a 24-jewel automatic movement with a 40-hour power reserve.

Unlike Casio’s usual quartz offerings, these watches use a bidirectional winding system and a transparent caseback that showcases their mechanical movement.
The design includes dials made to look like forged carbon in gray, green, blue, and white colors. Each watch is housed in a compact 39mm case with a sapphire crystal and water resistance up to 100 meters. The date is placed at the 6 o’clock position.
They are already listed on Casio Philippines’ website, which could mean the watch will be available locally soon. Pricing, however, remains under wraps.
