vivo Y400 5G debuts with 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, 90W fast charging

vivo has officially launched the Y400 5G in India, bringing key upgrades over its 4G version. The new model features a faster processor, an improved selfie camera, and faster charging.

The Y400 5G sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1800 nits. It has a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth lens. On the front, there’s a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Under the hood, the phone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM. It comes in two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. Battery capacity is 6000mAh, and it supports 90W fast charging.

The Y400 5G runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 and includes “flagship-grade” stereo speakers. It’s available in two colors: Glam White and Olive Green.

Pricing in India starts at INR 21,999 (₱14,450 or $250) for the 8GB+128GB variant, while the 8GB+256GB model is priced at INR 23,999 (₱15,760 or $270). vivo has not yet confirmed availability in other regions.
