Netflix renews ONE PIECE live-action series for season 3

Production starts this year, while Season 2 arrives in 2026.

Netflix has confirmed a third season for its live-action ONE PIECE series. The announcement was made at the annual ONE PIECE Day event in Tokyo.

Production for Season 3 will begin later this year in Cape Town, South Africa. Ian Stokes will join Joe Tracz as co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer. Tracz also led Season 2, which is set to premiere in 2026.

The series is based on Eiichiro Oda’s popular manga. It follows Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hat pirates, as they search for the legendary treasure called the One Piece. Season 2 will take them into the Grand Line, a dangerous sea filled with strange islands and powerful enemies.

The show is produced by Tomorrow Studios and Netflix, in partnership with Shueisha. Executive producers include Oda, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, and others.

Season 1 debuted in 2023. Season 2 is coming in 2026. With Season 3 now confirmed, fans can expect the story to continue with new adventures.
